Since 180b939, the Safety Council has become a solid grass roots, not-for-profit, non-governmental, public service organization.  Serving mid-Michigan, the Council's mission continues to focus on promoting all types of safety through education, particularly child/school safety, traffic safety, home/community safety and work place safety, with the purpose of preventing the personal and economic loss associated with injuries and health hazards.

The Lansing Area Safety Council offers the Safety Ambassador Program to save lives, increase safety awareness, and reduce injuries. In our quest to become a model region for safety in the world, the Safety Ambassador Program addresses safety concerns impacting the region and an overview of First Aid/CPR/AED for organizations in Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties.

In celebration of the Lansing Area Safety Council’s 80th Anniversary, we’re seeking to identify 80 organizations before Dec. 1, 2019 to participate in this program.
